Diego is a dedicated professional counselor committed to supporting individuals in navigating life's challenges and improving overall well-being. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, Diego works with clients to build insight, develop coping strategies, and foster meaningful personal growth. Diego holds a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Idaho and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida (LMHC). Diego has experience working with diverse populations and providing counseling services in English and Spanish. Diego specializes in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, adjustment, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused approaches, Diego tailors each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual. Diego strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Diego is passionate about helping individuals build resilience, strengthen emotional well-being, and lead more fulfilling lives.
