Zach graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Psychology before attending Gonzaga University where he earned a master's in clinical Mental Health Counseling. Zach has spent five years working as an ABA-Therapist helping adolescents with autism spectrum disorder learn skills and adapt to the demands of their environments.
Zach is passionate about helping people from all walks of life. He believes that counseling is best done within a relationship built on trust and collaboration. Zach wants to get to know you, your story, and what you want from counseling. From there he begins a collaborative process with clients to outline a treatment plan and create manageable goals.
Zach commonly utilizes principles from emotion focused, acceptance commitment, strength-based, and person-centered therapies. Zach promotes holistic client welfare and finds use in teaching mindfulness skills and intentional lifestyle choices.
Zach enjoys spending his free time outdoors hiking, running, and mountain biking. Zach is always hopeful for snow in the mountains and loves to ski. He also enjoys reading, gardening, and practicing guitar. Zach loves spending time with his friends and family, especially while exploring all the great locations Boise has to offer.
