Kelsea shuldes

lMSW, mental health therapist

Kelsea graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and earned her Master's degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She grew up in the Treasure Valley and recently returned to Idaho to be closer to her family.

Kelsea works to provide a safe space for clients to process life challenges and recover from trauma. She enjoys helping clients to identify their own personal values and work toward their life goals. She practices an eclectic approach that integrates elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, mindful self-compassion and motivational interviewing.

Kelsea has a wide range of experience providing services for clients from diverse backgrounds. She has worked with many clients who have disabilities, chronic health problems or who are in the process of adjusting to a life-changing event, illness or injury. She has also had extensive training in domestic violence response and uses those skills to help clients who need crisis intervention, safety planning, or trauma-informed care.

In her free time you can find Kelsea reading a book in a coffee shop, roaming the Greenbelt when the weather is nice, spoiling her 2 elderly cats or throwing a ball for her golden retriever.
