CORA KAESTNER

LMSW, COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

Cora Kaestner, LMSW , attended Boise State University for her undergraduate and graduate studies. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Curriculum and Instructional Design and a Master of Social Work .

Cora spent two years as an elementary school teacher before pursuing her MSW. During her graduate studies, she interned as a clinician f or the Children's Mental Health Unit for Health and Welfare. Here she served children, adolescents, and families through wraparound mental health services. Cora also interned as a School Social Worker during her graduate studies, where she provided mental health services to students and families and served as the homeless liaison for her designated schools. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families impacted by trauma. After starting with Noble Intent as a mental health therapist, Cora transitioned into the position of Community Outreach and Program Development. This position allows Cora to pursue her affinity for working with systems and policies. 

When she is not working, Cora enjoys spending time hiking on the trails of the Boise Foothills, swimming, picnicking, riding her bike on the greenbelt, reading, and binge watching the latest shows. Her favorite thing to do is take her son, Otto, swimming and to gymnastics classes.
