Amanda received her bachelor's degree in P sychology from Boise State University and her master's degree in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University. Amanda has prior experience working in case management, CBRS, and habilitative support services.
After graduating with her master's degree, Amanda shifted her focus to therapy services for teenagers, young adults, families, and couples. Amanda has worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and more. Amanda's couples work is based on the Gottman Method; she is a Level 1 Certified Gottman's Therapist.
Amanda utilizes a systems perspective and strengths - based approach with all of her clients. She is passionate about providing a safe and judgment - free space. Amanda believes in the importance of recognizing that everyone's experiences are unique from one another.
In her free time, Amanda likes to spend time with her husband and golden retriever. Amanda is a strong proponent for self - care; she enjoys working out, binging Netflix tv shows, and reading anything that sounds interesting.
