Josh graduated from the Boise State University Honors College with a degree in Psychology in 2016. Josh earned a Master of Social Work degree from Boston University in 2021.

Josh has over five years of experience in the field of social work. He is a board - certified case manager (CCM) with a background in care coordination, community - based rehabilitation services, peer support and psychotherapy. Josh also has years of experience working with refugee populations. As a social worker, Josh's practice interests include working with family systems, recovery from traumatic experiences, policy work, and program development. As a Master of Social Work student, Josh completed an advanced internship at the Warm Springs Counseling Center in Boise, Idaho. Josh gained experience coordinating care for children and families with serious emotional disturbances and developed skills as a psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, and adults. Josh has training and education in various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, structural family therapy, and trauma - informed therapies.

Josh is an avid road cyclist and enjoys riding with his wife when time allows. Josh also loves to travel to new places, read philosophy, watch football, and build computers.
