Jessica Foster graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and later earned her Master's in Counseling both from Boise State University.

Jessica has over 15 years of experience working in the substance use disorder field providing case management and quality assurance services. She has experience counseling students in the school system as well as juveniles in an in-patient setting. She finds great joy in seeing her clients gain insight into themselves and their behaviors and make positive changes in their lives.

She recently gained certification as a Positive Discipline Educator and has a passion for helping parents and children improve their relationships, as well as helping families create a more harmonious family life.

She views counseling from an Adlerian lens and believes that people thrive when they feel encouraged, empowered, and socially connected. She also uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. When working with children she likes to offer opportunities for creative exploration through art or play. Jessica works with clients and their family system to identify their goals for therapy, making sure client's feel heard and supported. She believes that small positive changes to a client's life can lead to big changes over time.

Jessica is a life-long Idahoan who takes pride in the natural beauty of the state. When not working she enjoys riding her bike, creating new recipes, and spending time with her family.
